An Amazing Technicolor Evening

What an amazing night we had in St Albans Cathedral on Saturday.

The phenomenally talented students from Tring Park School for the Performing Arts put on a stunning performance of ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ and quite literally raised the roof with their fantastic performance.

The Cathedral looked amazing, lit up in an array of colour, and the students, aged between 14-16 years old, sang their hearts out. They have had a busy term, with many combining rehearsals with GCSE’s, but that didn’t halt their enthusiasm and the audience enjoyed 2 hours of wonderful singing, dancing and all round entertainment.

The whole cast were thoroughly brilliant, but we must specifically reference the outstanding performance of Jacob Edwards, who played Joseph. His solo performances of ‘Close Every Door’ and 'Any Dream Will Do’ were simply brilliant and had the audience bewitched.

It was a sheer pleasure to host such an amazing concert, particularly in the year ‘Joseph' is celebrating it’s 50th birthday. Thank you so much to everybody who came and supported the event, bought programmes and contributed to the charity collection at the end of the concert.

A huge thank you to Stefan Anderson, Principal of Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, and his amazing team led by Louisa Shaw, Chris Newton and Peter Humphreys. Their professionalism throughout has made this whole journey a joy.

Such an incredible night would not have been possible were it not for the support of our generous sponsors. I’m enormously grateful to the following:
