Chaplain to the High Sheriff
Rev’d Jeremy Moodey is a non-stipendiary curate at St Mary's Church in the Parish of Great Chesham on the Bucks/Herts borders. His previous careers include spells as a British diplomat, with postings in Pakistan and Rome, a City investment banker with Rothschild, and chief executive of two Christian charities, Embrace the Middle East and Clergy Support Trust. He is a member of General Synod for the Diocese of Oxford and a Council member at Trinity College Bristol, an Anglican theological college. He has also been a volunteer chaplain at the Hospice of St Francis in Berkhamsted.
Jeremy is married to Ruth and has two daughters, Rebecca (a social worker) and Ellie (also an FCO diplomat, currently serving in Brussels). He is a Tottenham Hotspur supporter and a qualified football referee.
