The High Sheriff's Youth Chaplain

Kieran Murphy is the Director of Phase, Hitchin’s innovative Youth Support Charity. Phase works across all Hitchin’s primary and secondary schools building wellbeing and resilience in children and young people.

 

Kieran has a wide range of skills honed through working in education from a youth work perspective for over 18 years. He provides schools with a variety of services that have made a huge positive difference in the lives of hundreds of young people. Kieran is excited to support the High sheriff in this completely new role and looks forward to bringing his enthusiasm and energy to what this year holds. 

 

Kieran is married to Claire and has two young children, Lily and Daniel that keep him busy. A keen sports enthusiast and a loyal Luton Town supporter.
