A relaxed and fun event to support, celebrate and provide awareness of opportunities available to young people.

Learn more about the High Sheriff's - Youth in Herts Programme and the launch of the High Sheriff's Awards.

We look forward to this celebration of our young people on International Youth Day.
Please take the opportunity to visit as many of the participating organisations as you can and learn about some of the extensive opportunities that exist to support young people and the wider community in Hertfordshire.

We ask you to respect the guidance related to the COVID-19 threat at all times whilst enjoying the day. Respecting others in terms of social distancing where necessary, use of hand sanitation provisions or masks when appropriate will help us all to minimise these threats. Please do not attend the event if you are required to self-isolate or exhibit COVID-19 related symptoms.

We hope you will have a good day out. A day to celebrate and support our young people as they receive notice of exam results. The Orchard is a great place to relax in the open air. Do also take the opportunity also to visit the great things going on in the St. Albans Cathedral!

Let’s work together to build the greatest future for our young people. Leaders of today and tomorrow!

University of Hertfordshire – Law Clinic
Hertfordshire Law Clinic operates in conjunction with leading local law firms to improve access to justice by providing free legal advice to the local community.

Youth Talk
Youth Talk provide free, confidential counselling to 13 – 25 year olds in the St Albans District. Come and say hello to find out more about how we support local young people and take part in a digital quiz to win free prizes!

Mental health and wellbeing support for young people and their parents

Advice and support for anyone under 21 or anyone supporting a young person. Crisis Information, Alcohol and Drugs addiction support.

Come and find out about an activity or project near you; mental health, and wellbeing signposting.

Prince’s Trust

Princes Trust is a charity and helps 16-30 year olds get into education, training and employment. Or just come and have a chat!

One Vision

The project provides a forum for members to network, exchange ideas, share information and skills and provide a voice for the disadvantaged. Sharing the activities and work of the One Vision Watford Youth Council, come and visit us :)

Safe Space
Counselling which offers the individual a safe non-judgmental space to explore their feelings and work through any issues they are experiencing whether this be concerning relationships, loss, stress, change or traumatic events.

Girl Guiding Hertfordshire

Through fun, friendship, challenge and adventure we empower girls to find their voice, inspiring them to discover the best in themselves and to make a positive difference in their community.

One YMCA
A diverse range of services, programmes and initiatives to support the local communities to thrive. Learn about our Hostel and supported living facilities.

Herts Young Homeless (HYM)

A local homeless charity working with vulnerable young people, our stall will enable people to learn more about our services available to them. Visitors will be in with a chance to win some HYM merchandise!!!

Crown Prosecution Service (CPS)Community LiaisonThe CPS works with local communities to better understanding how crime affects them. Young people are particularly welcome to come down and have a chat to bring their perspective and input to the CPS planning and decision-making, particularly on priority issues such as hate crime, domestic violence and sexual violence.

Young Magistrates Group – Magistrates Association

Services for Young People is part of Hertfordshire County Council and provides youth work projects, information, advice, guidance, work-related learning and wider support for young people in Hertfordshire.

Provides bespoke, personalised and differentiated coaching packages for young people from primary school age up to college students. We also offer motivating and self-developmental Coaching for adults

Our fire and rescue service is for everyone. We'd like children, young people and their families to get involved.

We offer a small range of programmes for young people aged 10-25yrs, to help build confidence, develop skills and prepare for adult life.
