C2 Court Awards

On Thursday, I met with HHJ Jonathon Carroll, Chief Constable Charlie Hall and some representatives from the police and probation services to celebrate the Choices and Consequences (C2) Programme.

C2 is an alternative to prison custody and requires offenders to go through an intensive 3-4 year programme. The Chief Constable gave the certificate to an awardee who had remained crime free and drug free for the duration of the programme and had acquired work and permanent accommodation. It was great to see people turning their lives around and (as always) to strengthen the connection between the office of High Sheriff and the Courts.
