Wow - what a year!

Visits to local charities, citizenship ceremonies, a night out on patrol with the police, round-table discussions, the Garden Party, Justice Service and Awards Ceremony…and the list goes on…little wonder that Stelio has described the past year as amazing and exhausting in the best possible way! A big thank you from Stelio and the team at the Stefanou Foundation to everyone who has worked with us to celebrate and support the vital work going on to make Hertfordshire a County of opportunity for all. Special thanks to all those with whom we have worked most closely – you all deserve personal awards for partnership working! Best wishes to Will Hobhouse, who becomes High Sheriff on Sunday 26thMarch, and to Richard Taylor who continues as Under-Sheriff, providing continuity and invaluable support for the Shrievelty. Stelio has ended every speech as High Sheriff with a quotation and at the awards ceremony, he quoted Maya Angelou: ‘Be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud’. It has certainly been a year for spotting rainbows!
