Visit to HACRO - Caring Dads

Caring Dads is a 17 week cognitive behavioural therapy parenting course for men about whom there have been allegations of abuse towards their families, run locally by HACRO.

I met with Valerie Beale who is a trustee of the programme, and she told me a bit about the programme. After this, I spoke with two of the leaders of the sessions, and sat in on one. It was the frank way that the men spoke about how they have changed their attitude to their partners and families which struck me most of all.
