During the heat wave of the last month, I have enjoyed more wonderful visits around the county. At the start of June I attended the 'Volunteering Herts Valuing Volunteer Management Awards’ in Hatfield, hosted by Community Hertsmere. Amongst the worthy winners were Age UK Herts, who have excelled in the field of volunteer management. The event took place during Volunteers Week and I would like to offer my personal thanks to all those across the county, of all ages, who volun
