Henry Holland-Hibbert, High Sheriff of Hertfordshire

Henry comes from a long established Hertfordshire family who settled and built their home at Munden, just outside Watford in the 18thCentury. Henry and his family live there today managing a diversified rural estate and property portfolio that has developed considerably over the last twenty five years.

Following a four year commission in the Coldstream Guards, Henry followed a professional career in the property industry working with Lane Fox and Strutt & Parker for many years. His time is now spent as a Trustee/Board member of a variety of property related businesses in London and the Home Counties. He is also a member of the St Albans Diocese Glebe Committee and Property Company.

Henry is Chairman of the Hertfordshire Community Foundation and a particular theme of his High Sheriff year will be promoting the work of HCF and their association with the voluntary sector. He also served for a time as a Council member of the Order of St John in Hertfordshire.

Henry is married to Kate (a Deputy Lieutenant of Hertfordshire) who is equally committed to her charity work in the county. They have four grown up children.
